Make sure your email filters are NOT set to delete junk mail automatically. Then ask them to resend it and it'll most likely wind up in the Junk folder.

Well after several hours of ransacking my house to find CD Keys which Support asked in order for me to receive account info, I finally came up with the stupid idea of adding a Trilogy trial key to my account (I had like 9 lying around), then I just email them the Key, and to my surprise it worked. Hope this helps others.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that as I have exhausted all patience with them...
Set up a brand new account, and get a message that the GW I added was already linked..??? Linked a secondary GW account with no problems.
Tried to explain to them in multiple Email that the account had just been set-up
like 10 min before the support ticket was sent but ...No!!! We need all your key codes to verify that your legit...
OK !!! were did that box I bought 3 years ago go...

I also had the same problem of my Guild Wars account tied to a PlayNC-account that was unknown to me and had to contact support. Two days after I created a support-ticket I got the reply back with the request to send the necessary information back to them. Then, later that same day, they send me the name of my PlayNC-account and reset the password and I finally have my free storage pane now!
More importantly, I own all 4 campaigns but I lost my access key to the first Guild Wars campaign somewhere in the past. Luckily that wasn't a problem with support (they do ask for all access keys). So to all the people who are afraid they may not get their account back cause they do not have all access keys any more, it shouldn't be a problem.

I had the same issue...
I went to support and made a ticket and they asked me about the two accounts that were mine so they could link them... all I had to do was prove who I was with some basic account and game info and they were able to link the accounts up with a dummy password that I could reset. Problem was solved in 2 days and I have my free storage!
So just make a support ticket and hopefully they will help you by Friday.

Indeed, not to mention the fact that my wife, my son and i play and all the boxes are on the same shelf. So who's box and access key is who's?

This may have been mentioned already, but is there not a flip side to this issue that may impact on anet's bottom line? I really couldn't be ars*d to go through days of effort/waiting to try to recover account details long lost.
I guess that means I'll never be able to make additional purchases for my account, in which case anet loses out too. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Had trouble linking acoutns like many other people. I still do not ever remember making an account and don't think I did because I never bought anything outside the on-line store. So I had to get info from support and the information they wanted in my opinion was very unreasonable and I am very hestant to give the information out. Basically everything they wanted would give someone access to my entire account as well as my credit card information and personal information. I am quite sure the reply I got was legit and not a scam, but I am still most likely going to eat it and not reply and if I really want storage I will purchase it unless they make some changes where you can get the free storage from the on-line store. I really an enjoying the update but add this on to the fiasco with the free storage and it leaves a small sour taste in my mouth. Too complicated and too risky in my opinion to continue.

I finally received my NCSoft master account name and pwd reset and got my free pane (yay!), but I have another Guild Wars account that I've never linked to the NCSoft account. I tried to do that, but every key I type in (tried the key from Factions, Nightfall, and EotN) results in "Invalid Serial No.". Anyone else run into this? Is there some magic voodoo I have to do to link a second GW account, or will I have to submit yet another ticket?

I had this problem when I changed my GW password. I had no idea which boxes were mine and which were my boyfriend's, not to mention I could only find 1 copy of Factions lol.
I ended up just sending all the keys in explaining I wsn't sure which were linked to my account, and it worked out fine.

Update - Sent support ticket Saturday AM, got reply from a real person yesterday, sent my response (with most but not all of my account keys) last night, got another real reply this AM with my master account name & new pw, got my free storage. I'm 99% sure it was a case where it automatically set up an NCsoft account when I bought EoTN through the in-game store, but the NCsoft account name was the first part of a different email address than the one I use for login.

Sheesh, I wish it was that easy for me. My ticket is seven days old now. I sent them all my keys, the correct ones. I only have 1 of each game and I triple checked all 25 digits for each one. I've also sent them every goddamn detail about my GW acount that I can. But they keep asking me specifics about this godforsaken NCsoft master account that I can't provide them with because I didn't create an account.
And the only email address I've ever used in connection with GW starts with a number, so truncating it at the '@' doesn't work because NCsoft account names need to start with a letter. I'm using this very email address, which is my GW account name, in my communications with them.
I'm seriously ticked off now. Happy effin' birthday Guild Wars!

I had problems linking two accounts and opened a support ticket over the weekend. After going through 3 responses where they just reset my NCSoft password, I got someone that read my messages and provided a solution today.
And to confirm, if your GW account password is 14 characters or more (like mine were), you'll have to reset it to a smaller size. Which is a total joke, as the GW reset gives you a much less secure 9 character password. That should be changed to let you enter at least a 12 character password of your own choosing. So, unless I'm missing an option somewhere to do that, two of my accounts now have pathetic, less secure passwords. (HINT: you can keep using the cancel option in the automated email you get when you do a GW account reset until you get one that isn't quite as bad, you'll just have to wait awhile after doing it each time)
Anyway, a big thanks to:
Bridgette
Guild Wars Account Support
and a not so big thanks to the others that didn't help that much.
